Welcome to CHADS Coalition's Fundraising home page!

CHADS (Communities Healing Adolescent Depression & Suicide) Coalition works to end the tragic loss of young lives to suicide by raising funds for early-onset depression research, educating the community regarding teen depression, and advocating for mental health treatment for adolescents.

Our organization's goal is to raise $450,000 in 2010 -- 62% more than our 2009 fundraising total.

CHADS Coalition is staffed mostly by volunteers and maintains very low operating expenses, so your donation goes straight to work, saving young lives. In 2010, CHADS is donating $121,000 -- raised through our special events -- to medical university researchers and students who are studying early-onset mood disorders. CHADS Coalition's research grants will help identify the physiological causes of adolescent depression, and will encourage more interest in the field of child psychiatry.
